About Me

My photo
Matt Sargent
I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. Some recipes work and some don't, but I never fail to learn something. I first learned how to cook as a short-order cook at Sears Coffee Shop. I also picked up a lot of technique by watching my Dad on the old Char-broil grill while growing up. Huge celebrations at our house in Annandale, VA also taught me about cooking for crowds. We also had a large traditional garden in our yard, so growing my own vegetables in a garden is something I have wanted to do for a long time. My try at Square Foot Gardening is recorded in my blog http://mcsarge.blogspot.com
